AFC Bournemouth v Leeds live: score, updates and line-ups

Bournemouth secure a 2-0 win as Amine Adli wrapped things up deep into stoppage time, turning home from Junior Kroupi's assist just moments after James Trafford had kept Leeds in it with saves from Rodríguez and Stach. Evanilson's first-half strike, set up by Kluivert, had put the hosts in control and Leeds, despite enjoying more of the ball throughout, couldn't find a way past a resolute Bournemouth defence. It was a bruising, foul-strewn contest with five bookings in total, but Bournemouth made their late chances count to seal a deserved victory.

Leeds have pushed hard for an equaliser in this spell, with Nmecha and Longstaff both seeing shots from outside the box blocked, and corners shared as both sides have had chances from set pieces. Adams picked up a second yellow-card incident of sorts, fouling again after his earlier booking, while Bournemouth made a change up front, sending on Álvaro Rodríguez for Evanilson to try to see things out. It's still 1-0 to Bournemouth heading into the closing stages.

Bournemouth have shaded the last ten minutes, with Tavernier forcing a save from Trafford before Kluivert and Rayan both had efforts blocked or wide in a lively spell. Leeds made a triple substitution, bringing on Longstaff, Stach and Nmecha, and briefly threatened through a Justin header that drifted just wide. Bournemouth still lead 1-0 and have edged ahead in shots and shots on target, though Leeds continue to hold the edge in possession.

A fairly even start to the second half with little clear-cut action. Fouls have crept up on the Bournemouth side and the game has been broken up by free kicks from both Gudmundsson and Calvert-Lewin, while Leeds continue to shade possession. Bournemouth still lead 1-0 and haven't troubled Trafford again yet, but the hosts' corner count has ticked up as they try to add to their advantage.

Against the run of play, Bournemouth go in front. Evanilson slots home from the centre of the box after being picked out by Kluivert, punishing Leeds for a spell of dominance without a goal to show for it. Leeds have since lost Elvedi to a yellow card for a crude foul as tempers simmer.

Bournemouth have grown into the game since that early Leeds dominance, with the hosts now matching the visitors for possession and registering their first shot through Christie, which was blocked. It's become a scrappier affair too, with free kicks conceded by both sides around the middle of the park, but neither keeper has really been tested as the half wears on.

Leeds United have made the early running at the Vitality Stadium and will feel hard done by not to be ahead. Calvert-Lewin thought he'd scored from close range after Justin's assist, but VAR chalked it off for handball, and Wilson then dragged a shot narrowly off target. With 65.8% possession and two shots to Bournemouth's none, the visitors look the sharper side, while the hosts have yet to register an attempt in this one.
